El Caño Pasa tiene aproximadamente 45 km. de longitud y está ubicado al sur de Puerto Ayacucho en el estado Amazonas, Venezuela. Es uno de los últimos ríos que se cruzan antes de llegar al final de la carretera Amazónica en Venezuela (boca del río Sipapo). El río no tiene puente y algunas veces en época de lluvia es un poco dificultoso cruzarlo ya que su caudal aumenta considerablemente. Sus aguas son moderadamente turbias y acidas con un color verdoso esmeralda en la época de lluvia.
